Athletic single dad out there?

Well I recently turned 40 and feel totally awesome! Was a little nervous about it, but it turns out 40 is definitely just a number! Exercise is a big part of life for me. I enjoy doing sprint- and Olympic-distance triathlons. Not a serious athlete or anything - just determined not to become a frumpy old mom! Maybe I'm also trying to counteract the mini-van thing. I'm kind of a compulsive multi-tasker (ok, maybe a little bit of a spaz) -- have learned to force myself to sit down with a glass of wine in the evenings to relax for an hour! When I make time to read, I enjoy anything non-fiction. I love music - pretty much anything but rap and country (sorry about the country thing - I'm from Michigan!). Taking piano lessons now and loving every moment of it. Recently started learning how to fix things in my house and it's so fun! Wish I could live in jeans, long-sleeve T-shirt and a ball cap. Kinda hate politics, and there is absolutely no room in my life for stress, worry or drama! I have two amazing daughters, 5 1/2 and 4. Favorite pastimes with them are relaxing in a coffee shop (started them early - got them hooked on vanilla steamers!), playing freeze tag in the front yard and dancing to the 80's in our living room! I try to remind myself every day that silliness is much better than seriousness, and laughing with your kids is much better than yelling at them. Honestly, I'm just hoping not to say anything to them that will scar them for life!
